About Me

A Lifetime of Racing, A Future of Champions

Racing has been a part of my life for over 40 years, and it’s a passion I’ve had the privilege of sharing with my grandkids for the past seven. What started as a way to spend quality time together quickly turned into something bigger—a commitment to helping young drivers experience the thrill of competitive racing while learning valuable skills along the way. Quarter midget racing has given my family incredible memories, and I knew I wanted to create opportunities for more kids to get involved in the sport. That’s how Straightline Racing, Inc. was born—a nonprofit dedicated to raising sponsorship funds to keep young racers on the track and give them the best possible shot at success.

As my team has grown, so has my determination to compete at a high level. I started with a small operation, and now the kids are running three cars, with plans to expand to a fourth. Racing is more than just a weekend hobby—it’s a sport that demands dedication, skill, and the right resources to stay competitive. I’ve worked as a marine tech for years, and that hands-on experience has helped me keep our cars in top shape, but racing requires constant investment. That’s why I work hard to secure funding and sponsorships to give these young drivers the best possible equipment and support. Seeing the excitement in their eyes when they get behind the wheel reminds me why I do this, and I’m committed to keeping this dream alive for as many kids as possible.
